ROV Pilot Project
The Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Pilot Project introduces students to core ROV concepts through hands-on, experiential learning. Designed for both K–12 and post-secondary audiences, the project works with industry and education partners to build an introductory curriculum, a career-connected pathway map, and a scalable platform aligned with industry standards.
MAC Welding & Fabrication Model Framework
The Maritime, Agriculture & Natural Resource, and Construction (MAC) Welding & Fabrication Project is a statewide, open-source model framework funded by Career Connect Washington. Built with industry partners, MAC provides accessible, scalable welding and fabrication frameworks aligned with OSPI and Department of Labor career clusters.
Multi-Generation Maritime Navigation Guide
The Maritime Navigation Guide is a fantastic open educational resource for elementary school aged students, their families, teachers and communities to explore the maritime industry. It is meant to be fun, hands-on, and easy to use - whether you're at school, at home, or in your community. We hope it inspires curiosity and big dreams!
Career Connect Washington Maritime Sector Intermediary Project
In 2022, the Center of Excellence for Marine Manufacturing & Technology applied for designation as Career Connect Washington Maritime Sector Intermediary. As a Career Connect Washington Maritime Sector Intermediary, we are excited to take on the challenge of creating a statewide industry aligned maritime workforce sectoral strategy in support of the critical Washington State maritime industry.
